After an illustrious time spent at the Lotus, we claimed it as our own, replacing the bar in Back Stage in October 2017. Crafted in the 1880s by the Brunswick Company in Chicago, the bar was shipped to America’s West Coast by a rather circuitous route at sea: around Cape Horn in South America. This hidden room behind the Bagdad Theater's screen stretches an incredible seven stories from floor to ceiling! But before your eyes wander way up, have a look at the 130-year-old cherrywood bar, which was salvaged from downtown Portland’s iconic Lotus Cardroom upon its closing in 2016.
